New Build Up
This new build features the unit upgrade cubes. The basic amount of resources you get each turn has been increased from 2 to 3. It also has a new feature where if the rack is full when a new cube is drawn, the oldest one is removed to make room for it. This prevents a build up of all the same cubes so the game doesn't get stuck with a rack full of upgrade cubes with no bases to upgrade. I had originally planned to release these tomorrow, but I've started working on a procedural generation system for the levels rather than making a whole bunch of levels. It's coming together quickly, but I still need to set it up to balance the resources on the map. Another task for this coming week is to adjust whether or not upgrade cubes are even generated when there are no bases to upgrade, in some runs the rack fills up with upgrade cubes early on leaving both sides kinda stuck until they get something. I hope you enjoy this newest, best version of the game.
I'm also getting into working with Blender for some new models. Substance painter is a little too resource intensive for my machine to reasonably work with it, so I wont be able to use that for texturing. Here is a WIP on the new Robo model.
